Seasonal and Low Usage Farm & Home Service is available to TEC members based upon the rate being determined by Homestead Property according to Michigan Property Tax Code, by member's driver's license, voter registration address, or low usage non-permanent Farm & Home uses. |

Schedule "GS" (Rate Class 0003)

General Service is available to members of Thumb Electric Cooperative for all uses, subject to the established rules and regulations of the Cooperative when billing demand is less than 75 kW. This schedule is specifically intended for but not limited to the following classes of service: commercial, industrial, public buildings, schools, churches and any other that cannot be classified as normal farm and home use. |

Schedule "SGS" (Rate Class 0004)

Seasonal General Service is available to members of Thumb Electric Cooperative who occupy their premises or make use of their facilities only a part of each year or at intervals during the year. |

The minimum charge shall not be less than $15.25 per month. The minimum charge may be increased, in accordance with the Cooperative's rules and regulations, in those cases in which a greater than average investment is necessary in order to serve an account under this schedule. | |
Schedule "LGS" (Rate Class 0005)

Large General Service is available to any member of the Thumb Electric Cooperative for all uses, subject to the cooperative's rules and regulations, when billing demand is greater than 50 kW. |

Schedule "DF" (Rate Class 0007)

Dual Fuel Heating Service is available to members of the Thumb Electric Cooperative taking service concurrently under dual fueled heating loads which are controlled by the Cooperative. Single-phase service under this schedule will be available at all times except when interrupted by the Cooperative during times of peak system demand or system emergencies. The total number of hours that this load will be interrupted shall be limited to a maximum of 400 hours per year, and 8 hours per day. |

Schedule "ES" (Rate Class 0006)

Energy storage available to members of the Thumb Electric Cooperative taking service under another rate schedule. This rate is for interruptible service to energy storage loads which are controlled by the cooperative. Service is subject to the established rules and regulations for the cooperative. Service for this schedule will be available from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. |

Schedule "CWH"

Controlled Water Heater Service is available to members of the Thumb Electric Cooperative who have an electric water heater. To qualify for this rate, the sole source of water heating must be electricity and a remote controlled device shall be installed. |

Option 1: |
For members choosing the 40 or more gallons option and use more than 350 kWh/month, control of service shall not exceed 4 hours per day. A credit of $7.50 per month will be applied to the member's bill. |

Option 2: |
For members choosing the 80 gallons or more option and use more than 500 kWh/month, control of service shall not exceed 6 hours per day. A credit of $9.25 per month will be applied to the member's bill. |

Schedule "PL"
| |
Outdoor Protective Lighting Service, including street lighting. Controlled dusk-to-dawn service, under contract agreement, for not less than one year. |

175 watt mercury vapor lamp - $10.43/month/fixture
400 watt mercury vapor lamp - $16.99/month/fixture
100 watt high pressure sodium - $10.43
250 watt high pressure sodium - $16.99 |

The above rate is based on the use of existing poles and secondary facilities. If one or more poles are required, the above rates shall be increased by $3.00 per month per new pole, secondary span, or transformer required solely for a light. For lights installed on and after September 23, 2008, the above rates shall be increased $5.00 per month per pole, secondary span, and an additional $10.00 per month if a transformer is installed solely for the light. | |
Schedule "LPDS" (Rate Class 0055)

Large Power Distribution Substation, available only to Large Power Loads of 350 kW or greater to be served within 1,000 feet of the distribution substation. |

Schedule "PSR" (Rate Class 16)
| |
Primary Supply Rate, available to any members of the Thumb Electric Cooperative desiring service at primary voltage who contract for a specified capacity of not less than 50 Kilowatts at a single location, subject to interruption by agreement, or by advance notice, service will be alternating current, three phase, 12,470 volts at the option of the Cooperative. Members shall contract for a specified capacity in Kilowatts sufficient to meet normal maximum requirements but not less than 50 Kilowatts. Any single reading of the demand meter in any month that exceeds the contract capacity then in effect shall become the new contract capacity. |
