America’s Electric Cooperative PAC

Dear Thumb Electric Cooperative Member,

It is 2026 and in both Lansing and Washington elected officials are busy making decisions that can affect your cooperative. In the coming years, they will be making decisions that have lasting impacts on our energy future.

It remains important that electric co-ops and our members remind our current and future elected representatives that access to affordable and reliable electricity is vital to our community.

We depend on America’s Electric Cooperatives PAC (Formerly known as ACRE) to help us get that message to our legislators. The PAC was established in 1966, and it supports state and federal officeholders who speak up and protect the interests of electric co-ops and their member-owners.

Today, over 28,000 like-minded co-op members and employees participate in America’s Electric Cooperatives PAC. With an average contribution of $68, it is truly a grassroots political action committee. PAC represents the needs of the average electric consumer in an era where our energy policy debates often ignore the homeowner or small business owner at the end of the lines.

We know you value reliable access to electricity that you can afford. Help us fight for it.

Join Thumb Electric Cooperative and other electric co-ops across the country as we fight to keep electricity affordable for you. Join America’s Electric Cooperative PAC and make your voice heard today.

Sincerely,

Brad Essenmacher
General Manager
