Careers at Thumb Electric Cooperative
Powering Communities. Empowering People.
At Thumb Electric Cooperative (TEC), we do more than keep the lights on. We serve as a vital link between the rural communities of Michigan’s Thumb and the energy that powers their everyday lives. Since 1938, we’ve been built on cooperation, not competition, and that spirit is reflected in the way we work, the people we hire, and the values we uphold.
Whether in the field, in the office, or behind the scenes, every member of the TEC team plays a part in something bigger. We are stewards of trust, problem solvers, first responders during storms, and partners in progress. At TEC, you don’t just take a job, you take up a calling to serve your community with integrity, safety, and purpose.
We invite people who are hardworking, community-minded, and ready to grow to explore a career with us.
